Valentine's NOTW

Hey Guys!!
So, I know I'm late with all of the Valentine's Day posts but I've been sickly these past couple of days and I'm trying to play catch up! Be sure to check a few posts back to see my Valentine's Day makeup look! I went pretty simple, I just used Revlon ColorStay nail polish in Passionate Pink and for an accent nail I used OPI's Meep Meep Meep.

Spring NOTD

Hey Guys!
I am so over the cold weather and to help cope, I'm during bright and pastel colored manicures. Today I'm showing you one of my favorite pastels, OPI's Pedal Faster Suzi! It's a light pink with small iridescent silver glitter. SO pretty!!

Pretty Purple NOTD

Hey Guys!! 
Lately I've been obsessed with the Revlon ColorStay nail polish line, so today I have another manicure using one of them. I have on Bold Sangria and I also used Revlon's Scandalous glitter for a funky accent nail.

Christmas NOTD

Merry Christmas guys!!!

Today's NOTD is by one of my newly discovered favorite brands, Revlon!! I really love their ColorStay line. This deep ruby red polish is named Velvet Rope. I hope you guys enjoy the holidays and time with your family, I know I will!

Butter London NOTD

I get very boring during the winter months colorwise, I'm not sure why. This Butter London polish is really neutral, but super pretty! This polish is All Hail The Queen and it is a brown, taupe-y color with micro shimmers. So pretty!!

Does your polish style change with the seasons? Mine sure does!

NOTD: Tiptoeing Into Fall

Hey Guys!

On my nails I'm wearing Zoya's Moxie[Raspberry] & Wet N Wild's Club Havana[Orange]. I think I'm tiptoeing into fall polishes with this manicure because I'm still holding onto the summer and bright colors with the peachy orange accent nails. Zoya still, in my opinion, has the best polish formula I've ever tried! No color has ever been streaky [aside from their matte polish line] and have been opaque in two coats!

NOTD: Neon-licious!

Hey Guys!

Oh Em Gee, it's been FOREVER since I've posted a NOTD! I'm sorry I've failed you polish lovers, I'll do better :) This mani consists of a Color Club hot pink [the name rubbed off! It's one of their scented ones though], a Sally Girl neon orange [it doesn't have a name again! Ugh!], topped with Essie's Shine Of The Times and NYC's Matte Me Crazy topcoat. 

I'm not too crazy about how it looks matte. This is my first matte top coat so I'm somewhat underwhelmed. Bleh, I hate when that happens. Anywho, here's the mani :)

Counter-Clockwise:

• The polishes alone
• The polishes topped with Shine Of The Times
• All of the polishes matte

NOTD: Velvet Bow

This color is so pretty! China Glaze's Velvet Bow is apart of the Holiday 2011 collection. It's a deep vampy red color and I love it on my nails. And *gasp* no bling finger this time! I loved it all on its own.

It's closer to the index and thumb finger color

Wet N Wild's Purple Potion NOTD

I love this polish! Purple[not really] Potion is a black base polish with gorgeous magenta glitters. It is amazing. The only thing I don't like is the brush, which is not too horrible to make me never wear this polish again [obviously].

 

 

 

 

 

[FLASH]

Sidenote:: I cut my nails back down because I was so tired of them breaking off. The damaged half from the acrylics hasn't grown out yet, so I'm still dealing with that. Also, I have finally gotten a chance to use the Cuticle Oil & Hand Scrub I mentioned in my Julep Maven post. They both work great! The hand scrub leaves my hands feeling super soft and I've seen and improvement in my cuticles since I use the oil every day and every time I do a manicure.

NOTD: L.A. Girl's Party Animal

I have no idea where I got this polish from. I either bought it a couple of years ago or it could've even come in a gift set, either way, I really like it. It's a warm burgundy red with a slight, almost invisible shimmer. It almost sorta kinda looks chocolate at some angles. I felt it fit the mood of fall. I am resisting the itch of adding a "bling nail". The only reason I haven't is because I haven't found one that matches lol.

I almost never wear red on my nails so this is taking some getting used to. Do you wear dark nails? Whats your dark nail color, I think I need to add some to my collection. =)

Hanging With My Little Sister!

Hey Guys! I'm so happy to be able to write a fresh post! This weekend I went to Tennessee to visit my little sister and hang out with her for a little while. I had a lot of fun and I did not want to come home!! I only took a few pictures because I'm without a camera so my phone has to suffice!

I did a blow out on my hair and just used a headband to hold it back and added a bow on the side =) [[love bows!]]

Her Breast Cancer Awareness nails

I put press-ons on her nails [even though I REALLY didn't want to!] and painted them for her. I can't remember the names of the polish, but they were both Wet N Wild.  I cant wait to go back and visit. Hope you guys had a great weekend! =)

Bling Bling NOTD

I felt extra sparkly today! I wanted it to feel like I'd dipped my nails in diamonds and I was happy with the turnout! =) The deep navy blue base with slight teal shimmers is Sinful Color's Hot Spot and the "diamonds" were made by Sinful Color's Nail Art pen in Fashionista.

NOTD: Gagaelectric/CG In The City

I have a picture of this manicure 3 different ways because I ultimately messed it up and had to put a layer of glitter on all fingers, but it wasn't my initial intention. The base polish is Essence's @Holographics.com in Gagaelectric & the glitter is my favorite new polish, China Glaze's CG In The City. This manicure is 3 coats for Gagaelectic and one thin layer of CG In The City. I like the finished product! =)

Are You Surprised I Have More Glitter? NOTD

Today's featured polish is Sinful Color's "I Miss You". I've had this polish for a very long time, maybe 2-3yrs but I never used it. I'd originally planned to use it as a *bling* nail color but I loved it so much, I decided to feature it all on its own. It's a deep magenta jelly with pink and silver glitter. I was afraid when I saw just one coat, but after I layered the second one, I was pleasantly surprised. The pictures are two full coats before the top coat. Enjoy! =)

I've Got Sunshine. . .On A Cloudy Day! **NOTD**

Here in Alabama it has been raining on and off and looking pretty gloomy. So I decided to bring some brightness in my life and do a bright sunny manicure! I used Wet N Wild's The Wonder Yellows which a bright, pretty neutral toned yellow. I originally didn't like this color and was planning to take it off but after 4 much needed coats of this polish, it started to turn around. Once I added some *BLiNG* fingers of gold {Sinful Color's nail art polish Flower girl} I was definitely on this manicure's side! Hope you like these =) What are your mood/weather boosting polish colors?
